CHEESESTEAK SANDWICHES
INGREDIENTS
  • No joke hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp chimayo chile powder
  • ½ tsp chipotle chile flakes
  • 2 tsp ancho chile powder
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 baguette cut in half
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced green peppers
PROCESS

Score steaks ¼” deep several times on each side. Combine marinade ingredients and pour over steaks. Refrigerate for 6 hours minimum. In a saucepan, melt butter and add flour, whole milk, No Joke hot sauce and shredded cheese. Place steaks in hot pan or on a grill, and cook 5-6mins per side until desired doneness. Let steak rest 5mins, then cut into ¼” strips. Add onions and green peppers to hot pan and cook until soft. Assemble sandwich on toasted baguette and enjoy!
